« Disponible en anglais seulement »

The BETTER program Prevention Practitioner training workshop offers an opportunity for professional development to healthcare professionals working within the primary care setting.

The purpose of the 2 day workshop is to provide healthcare professionals with enhanced skills in primary prevention and screening of chronic disease through hands-on training using role playing and patient case examples.  The adaptation and implementation of the BETTER approach to enhance existing primary care settings' chronic disease prevention and screening efforts are also discussed.

Each session can accommodate up to 8 trainees.

REQUIREMENT: Trainees should be actively practicing within a primary care setting or be linked with primary care.
